They weren't happy but we made it through with two clean bills of health. The doctor and assistant both said they were cute, pleasant kitties.
Both seem quite happy to be back home.

This is likely of no interest to anyone but me but whatever. Sometimes, I practice German by creating nonsense paragraphs to see how well I can put together basic sentences. I think of a topic and type it in German in Google Translate to see how I do. One from tonight: Die Dokument (The Document)
I saw someone on TV make a Shakshuka with chick peas and greens the other day. Gave me an idea for a quick, healthy dinner option so I tried it out tonight.

Onion, garlic, chick peas, chix broth, baby spinach, crushed red pepper, and shredded Parmesan cheese.
Turns out, the chili was good, as expected. I asked if they sell a lot and the bartender said they do. Which I was happy to hear. I don't know if all the chili we know in the states is uniquely American or not. But variations certainly are. No matter, chili is tremendous in all its forms.
