These universities will call in riot police to respond to peaceful protests, but their response to the widespread nature of rape on campus is to try to (a) ignore it or (b) bury any ask for redress in process.

Pretty much my exact reaction. Well, that and some schadenfreude in knowing that Max was headed for prison. Especially since I knew he was contaminating my unknowns in a lab class since I had better technique than he did.
