I’m terribly amused by the troll trying to shame me for using 1 7/8 tow ball for my boat … as if it’s more manly to use the wrong equipment.

For what I see you catching, a bigger boat would be absolutely counterproductive. People who think fishing is better when it’s bigger are fools

Also now I want to know more about the boat. I grew up in little aluminum fishing boats and love them to bits

I have three. A 1961 at home, a 1973 in the drive at the cabin, and a 1986 little rowboat at the dock. :)

Lund ? Alumnacraft ? Crestliner ? I personally would love to have an old wooden resort rowing/fishing boat, suitable for a 10hp motor, to try to restore during a couple winters, and I know where there's a shed full of them. Time and initiative, though ...

the 61 is a Mitchell, the others are alumnacraft (14 ft for 73 and 12 for 86)
