There were so many jazz magazines in the 1920s & 1930s & beyond. Hot Jazz was published Paris with articles in both French and English. #jazzhistory #research #jazzsky

For me the strength/limitation of Oasis is that NG plays guitar like a busker: simple chords, steadily strummed. It makes songs easy to sing along to but they end up sounding v similar - esp. when he uses the same FX pedals. I’m not aware of him showing the curiosity of Johnny Marr for example
