They think about the crop but only in terms of short-term profit, not as a thing we need to survive!

Even if they would save the crops and the world they would still raise food and other prices. But then just for their greed

It's been cheaper the whole time to pivot to sustainable energy, but this is what they've given us

The cost was always about the fix, and the work to fix, the problem. Conservatives will gladly burn as much money to keep what doesn't work.

The article is speculative at best. Saying global temperatures are up one degree Celsius is arbitrary. There really is no such useful thing as a "global temperature." An "average" can be affected by anomalies in just one region. I'm a conservative, and I can tell you that the elites want your money.

I honestly cannot understand why people haven’t learned by now that you pay for things now or you pay for them later, but you always pay for them.

What they need is a warning they can relate to, like "Climate change will negatively impact your ability to cheat on your taxes".
