I used to get my nails done regularly, but then a surgery put me out of commission for 6 months and I was working reduced hours and couldn't afford it, so my anxiety was like "it's been too long so you can never go back bc it'll be awkward" but my old nail tech left so I booked an appointment 😅

today's forecast is 103F, the NWS is strongly advising people to cancel weekend outdoor plans, and the wedding (actually just the reception and a completely informal gathering with no vendors involved) is still happening in the park. I'm very angry and anxious but my familiar still wants to go so 🤷🏼

TLDR - I am massively allergic to all forms of medical adhesive and have to use special silicone tape because regular bandages were destroying my hEDS skin to the point that it's paper thin and looked like a severe infection - they got a bunch of the sutures out for me 😭💜 - it wasn't my fault 🎉

now trying not to have a panic attack in the back of a Lyft bc they told me to come in immediately I'm sorry I'm live posting this but I'm alone and scared and feeling like I'm being punished by some divine force right now 😩

Relatedly, please remember that a federal appeals court recently ruled that cops can compell you to use biometrics to unlock your phone. Passwords, pins, or patterns, people.
