It's Friday, friends. Can I be tiny happy at you for a minute?
This #SciArt zine I (finally) made will be in my store soon. Test print is shiny & full of nerdiness, & I love it.
Journal of Video Game Botany no.1 is on fungi that appear in AC Valhalla, & 2 will be the flora of Horizon Zero Dawn ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐
Generally I'm very bad at being happy when I make A Thing, but video game botany is my favourite weird hobby. So I'm happy I finally got my ๐ฉ together and made a zine about it ๐
preaching to the choir here, i wish i was quicker too. But you *finished a thing* (you finish lots of things) and that is so much more than however long it took you to do them.
I have trouble finishing but even more trouble starting, these days
Hehehe I did, didn't I? ๐
But the troubles - relatable. I'm just gonna say I have trouble trouble. Thats it, just trouble. With all the things. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
At the moment I'm finishing up one on Horizon Zero Dawn. But honestly, I haven't found a game I can't botanise yet, so who knows what I'll do next! I'm not super-fast at drawing the illustrations tho ๐ฌ
Yes, if I get round to playing it... On my list along with sooo many games, but life is life-y & also I'm very slow (probably bc stopping to look at all the plants ๐๐ญ)
I would never want to add any pressure, I know well how long the to-play list gets! But I will say, there's a delightful array of flora to be indulged in in the DA universe
Now I'm imaging future issues covering the fungi of The Elder Scrolls and Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom. But seriously, this is such a cool thing.
My elderKid, on seeing this post: "tell them to play Rainworld." *chuckle" They add, "but I've never played it..."
:) this is wonderful! Off to look for/at your store :)
