Feels nice when you mention a writing project in a discord and immediately get an “Omg I want to read that”

I hate how heat intolerant my body is these days. Maybe it’s meds, maybe it’s chronic illness, maybe it’s getting older, but I just am not able to do things. I’m hoping I can cheat by going from a/c at home to a/c at tea shop but the a/c in the car is broken so idk if it’s a good idea! Ughghgggg

we’re supposed to be the helpers, AND: you should still start by looking for the helpers… and then ask how you can pitch in. there are very few areas to help where someone isn’t helping already, and our efforts accomplish more when we work together. look for the helpers so you can join them.

Reminder from a Pittsburgher who was at one point Mr. Rogers neighbor: “Look for the helpers” was intended to be advice for his usual audience, children. We’re grown ups now. We’re supposed to be the helpers.

hey biblical scholars: any word on why/how song of songs/song of solomon got canonized? wikipedia tells me when and that the "it's about G-d's love" explanation is very old but like, *gestures vaguely* how'd it get there
