The lady at See's Candy recognized me as her once Uber driver and loaded me up with a half-pound of free samples. Yay!

There are some pastured cows and horses that I pass every day. Mostly they keep to themselves, but there's this one cow that's usually hanging out with the horses. I wonder what that dude's deal is?

I’ve got a neighbor who greets my dog like he’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened and ignores me like I don’t exist, and I’m totally cool with that. My dog is always super excited to see him too.

Bad: Got stuck in lake holiday traffic. Good: Saw a golden retriever in a motorcycle sidecar with goggles on. The good outweighed the bad in this case.

At the mall and a girl at one of the registers mutters, "I'm going to go punch this bitch in the face" as she steps from behind the register. We make eye contact and for a second she looks surprised and then we both start cracking up. Still laughing she says, "I'm just going to talk to my boss".

Going to the symphony tonight which means I had to polish the Doc Martens. They look very nice now.
