My phone's built-in autocorrect is bad enough, but MS Teams has its own autocorrect that's INCREDIBLY aggressive - I'll often find it's autocompleted words without my input while I'm still typing them, leading to red underlines b/c the second half of the word is duplicated because I didn't notice.

*places my hands on either side of my phone, to get its attention* Autocorrect. We've had these discussions before, but I need you to understand. If I say I want to "yeet it into the nearest sun," I do NOT mean "meet it into the dun." That doesn't even make sense. Stoppit.

I think we as a culture might need a new round of general education on "if it's on a website that anybody can edit or whose author you don't know and trust, assume it was put there by someone who thought it was funny or advantageous to lie to you, until you can get independent verification".
