I definitely have a weird deal where I mimic accents of whoever I spend time around, it's totally unconscious. But my base accent is rural BC (sort of like California x Minnesota) plus NC vocab as well. It's a mess.
Oh I very much am that too. I’m surprised I didn’t skew more Minnesota for that reason. But the southern adoption has become a lot more prominent in my speech
