House of the Dragon is definitely managing to recapture some of the magic of early GoT seasons. Not all of it, mind. But enough of it that as I finish S1, I'm actually hopeful that the show might give us the series that GoT should have been. We'll see how it goes, don't wanna get my hopes too high.

RANDOM ANIMAL FACT: Hyenas have really neat pupils! They aren't round like a dog's eyes. They can appear slitted more like cat's eyes BUT they don't constrict to a near line. Their pupils, instead leave rounded edges. Check it out!
