They are mocked for speaking up; Told their opinions don't matter, & pushed off safer platforms. SWs, many of whom are part of multiple marginalized groups, are shamed for their work, their views, their knowledge. It is going to get much worse before it gets better. Most of y'all aren't ready.

Thread of COOL BUGS from my yard Notes: I am not good at ID, easily confused, and am not a photographer. This is for fun because I love the beautiful complex relationships between plants and wildlife! Okay first is a Hummingbird Clearwing moth (hemaris thysbe) appreciation post because I LOVE THEM

Continuing with extremely cute & perfect moths- the Snowberry Clearwing (Hemaris diffinis)! These are a bit smaller, and tend to be faster and more shy about photos. The flowers seen are Wild Bergamot (Monarda fistulosa). I cannot recommend monardas enough if you are in their native range.

It particularly drives me mad when they claim AI allows disabled people into the industry...a large % of the arts industry (like me) ARE disabled, and work as freelance creatives in large part because we aren't accommodated in 'regular' work environments. AI is taking away our only available income.
