Okay, and he has never updated his stance on guns? I'm asking. As a legislator from a small, rather rural state, it seems unreasonable to expect him to be anti-gun. Also, I don't expect to always agree with any politician, even my favorite one.

I didn't say he never updated his stance, but the NRA got him his senate seat. If you choose to believe that's a principled change of heart go for it, but I think you're mad because you understand that the typical cynicism of assuming liberals are lying cuts against that here.
