Time will tell but my impression is that she will be better than AMLO on climate stuff, and it is impossible to be worse, so I think it's reasonable to be a little optimistic.

Not sure what you are responding to here but Mexico is a middle income nation and an oil exporter. AMLO coddled the national oil company at the expense of the state budget, and Mexico is extremely vulnerable to climate change.
