It'll be *way* worse than that. It'll be about "the coverup," which means a bunch of peripheral Dem players will peddle their stories in an effort to distance themselves, all while contenders for the nom try to assassinate one another in print.
And if it’s Harris, Alex Thompson - who has owned the “Biden is old beat” - will seamlessly move into the “Harris sucks too beat.” He already has a body of work!

They think we’re too stupid to know that this is exactly what would happen. Meanwhile, I would be much more amenable to Joe stepping down if I thought the Establishment Media would treat the the decision and subsequent developments as anything other than “Dems In Disarray” on steroids
That's the business model. The clicks, views, ad $ come from freaked Dems and Indies. MAGA has its own media ecosystem so not their cash cow.
They've been desperate for something to gin up attention cuz Biden old and good pres, econ good, crime down, non-scandalous Cabinet, is not making the bucks.
The MAGA media ecosystem is collapsing even worse now that facebook has turned off the valve somewhat. But they are driven much more by social outrage than internal chaos, and they don't really have anywhere more to go.
Those stories are already running (thanks 77-year-old rep daggett), but there will definitely be stories about biden needing to immediately exit the office as well.
I wish we had a candidate better that Biden that could defeat trump ... But I am okay with “ weekend at Bernie’s” until November, and then let him retire for health reasons.
