Lynn's colors on that project are well worth studying. You compare DKR to Miller's earlier DD (which were also well colored, don't get me wrong!) and you can see her impact. Her palette is still copied.
Pretty much disappeared from comics 20 years ago. Wonder what she's doing.
I thought they actually used this in the printed version? Coloured on a blueline, the European way? I could be wrong, but that’s how it always looked to me.
Steve Leiber was showing some of this off during his office hours free time. We were looking at a large print of Dark Knight Returns and it was so cool seeing a lot of the production notes.
