It is the ninth day of the seventh month, so 9 of 7, which is incorrect. In this particular context.

Genuine question. Why does the US do it that way around?

ISO-8601 is the international Date Format which sorts it from Year-Month-Day-Hour-Minute-Second-Etc which lines up with this and is the most efficient.

Wasn't she part of that Girl Band of the 80's...The Borgettes?
