Nick Kristof didn’t even check back with the undecided voter he chatted with today, just decided she’s probs out frankly I think he should have at least tried to get Maureen Dowd to text him back if he was going to use her in his column She literally told him her metric (who would do better for the economy) & he unilaterally substituted his own (does Biden seem old,) what an asshole Amusing juxtaposition really. Weird that the URL says 6/25! "Biden has never been a great debater" what the fuck? Everyone's favorite Biden moments are from him clowning on his debate opponents clowning on rubes isn't necessarily a great debate move
but that's mainly because debates are fuckin stupid Clowning on like regular people rubes, definitely not. Clowning on Paul Ryan, everyone loved. The snap polls from CNN were not great, but they weren't any worse than Trump's 2016 or 2020 first debates, which were closer to the election. Like for better or worse the collective memory of the electorate is about a week. Also I withdraw my suggestion that Biden should do a third debate.
You *could* put Trump on tilt, but there are downside risks too.
