I would guess that the reason there is a credible allegation in VF of RFK groping the babysitter, by the way, is that someone in the Kennedy family went “hey anybody have a phone number for any of the babysitters Bobby groped” article dropped which included both 1) a picture of him eating a roast dog carcass and 2) a credible allegation of him groping the babysitter
At minimum there are family members who know which rumors are plausible enough to point a reporter in the right direction.
The dog thing they probably had photos of though.
It was taken at a restaurant in Korea years ago, before they started moving to ban it.
They say as much, someone recounting telling him "Everyone in New York has a story [about you]"
His behavior towards his wife is disqualifyingly sadistic.
Probably had a copy of the NDA between the babysitter *and the Kennedy family* ready to be released.
