Art! From HeroesCon 2017, I’m pretty sure I still owe @gavinguidry.bsky.social profuse thanks for absolutely killing it with my request for a Steranko inspired Bucky Cap.
With HeroesCon almost here I'm realizing I never shared this piece by @mellon.bsky.social and colorist Matt Wilson. Kevin's self published Suicide Sisters is an over the top neo Western which made him such a great match for Vigilante. Wilson's colors skew to Western vistas so again, easy decision.
If you're a normal person, you just skip the tracks that don't work. If you’re me, you adjust the MP3s in the soundtrack to match the original release dates and update the album artwork. And then you recreate the soundtrack as a playlist.
Anyway, what did you do with your Monday night? [4/4]
Music Match features work great. Until they don’t. Today’s wackiness is the Chris Bell studio project Rock City and the accompanying album, See Seven States, being identified as by a rap rock duo.

The moment I realized I was out of step with the goth scene was when the rest of the scene didn’t lose their damn minds over the Raveonettes like I did. Cause man, this album rules.
This is it. Everything Chris Bell recorded with the exception of his work in Big Star and there’s a good chunk of that represented with Ice Water and Rock City. That’s what I call a hell of a good mail day.
There is no more smug satisfaction than knowing that not letting any of my CDs go was absolutely the right decision. I'm still doing clean up on the file uploads, but all in all I'm liking the fact that I'm actually enjoying *my* music again..
Last night we hit up a concert in our old stomping grounds in Decatur and man was that fun. Thanks to Lemonmnm and their bubble gum pop, and The Frigidaires and Surfer Joe for some good crunchy surf music.
