Headliners Scarcity took the stage a little after 10 and played their new album 'The Promise of Rain' T to B. The preview tracks have been great; experimental black metal. Standout track for me was 'Venom & Cadmium'. #metalsky

Deadyellow closed out the opening acts. This was my fourth time seeing them in less than a year so clearly I love these guys but something felt off about the sound last night. Locally grown and sourced post-black metal. #metalsky

Call of Pripyat up next. Crushing death doom, and my surprise favorite set of the night. A blisteringly crushing set and a band I enjoyed much more live than on recording. Played a clip from 'Stalker' (1972) behind them as they played, which complemented the music perfectly #metalsky
