Among many other things, we're going to start the initial work on video. It's a hefty task though so that could mean 1-2 months

@rincewind.run what paul is trying to say here is that with video capability, the DM will be able to better create narratives and provide a more immersive plot for the players to enjoy.

I'm not sure this is a good strategy tbh. Profiles already have a media feed which is obviously useful as it helps organize media based posts and text based posts. We could absolutely employ the same logic to our timelines. Plus Tiktok will be banned soon, so implementing this would be very welcome.

Since we are getting DM’s, wouldn’t it be nice to work also on some kind of restriction (private profiles for example) to avoid unrequested messages? I’ve read you guys are working on that for pictures, but harassment also happens in texts, specially towards women here.

You can choose to limit receiving DMs only from people you follow or turn them off completely:
