Woke up to a surprise: a cool marine layer had settled in overnight. Temps were ~10°F lower than expected. I decided to take advantage of it, so I went out on a longer than planned ride. (Bonus points? Time away from the news.) Now home. Legs scrubbed out. A very nice start to the day.

I will repeat myself. In the absence of a ceasefire deal *this summer*, the displacement of close to two million Palestinians in Gaza (and beyond it) could very likely become permanent ethnic cleansing. Just like it happened in 1948.

I love long, early morning bike rides (for me that means a 7:00-7:30am start). What a great start to the day.
