Ready to carpe noctum in the Pine Barrens?? I'll be running TWO expeditions this July. 1 for everybody! 1 for artists! We kick the excursion off with a walk around the pond to visit carnivorous plants, then post up at a light sheet to enjoy moths + more.

On July 20th, folks will be encouraged to bring their art supplies to draw, paint, or photograph what they see, while hanging with other artists (both professional & hobbyist). Previous Moth Nights we've seen snakes, bats, foxes, turtles, frogs, birds, beetles, & so many moths!

Man, if I lived ANYWHERE near you, I'd be on that in a flash! I hope it goes great, and that maybe we will get to see some mothy portraits, sometime afterward? 😊🥳

This is a bit of a hike for me but I bet I can do it. I'm going to book and if I can't make it, will there be a waiting list for someone to grab my spot?

Sounds like fun! Duly forwarded to my NJ artist friend, who is fond of nocturnal critters.

This sounds fantastic! I wish I still lived there. I have many happy memories of moth events in the Pine Barrens.

I love the artist night idea, too!
