I’ve been reading a lot of historical non fiction and I gotta say, I feel like the Spanish were responsible for more crimes against humanity than any other country in history. Just completely devoid of morals.

Someone keeps taking the containers/crates in the East Nashville pantry so I’m going over there tomorrow to bring more. I got a few good deals on prime day for some other pantry food and goods. I got some reusable bags I’m gonna put our logo on.

Am I the only one whose animals all just completely ignore fireworks like nothing is even happening? Both my cats and dog are just very meh about most loud noises. Unless the smoke detector chirps. That sets Venus OFF 😂

This book was incredible. So well and throughly researched. Isabel Wilkerson did an amazing job on this. I couldn’t put it down. There were obviously some uncomfortable subjects and moments, but. They had to live it, the least I can do is read about it. This book should be required reading.

Having the munchies at a concert is very expensive. 😂 Also the sun is long set. It’s 10pm. The heat index is currently at 96°.

Hey #bookbluesky can I get some non fiction book recommendations? I prefer historical stuff to biographies or introspective stuff or stuff about how to do a thing. Unless anyone has a good rec for a book on starting non profits.

Went to pride. Felt like I was gonna die if I stayed there. I looked forever for some kind of gluten free food and when I finally found something, it was in the direct sun with a long line. Knew I would pass out if I did that. Ended up just going home. It’s just too damn hot.
