v1.10.0 also finally fixes the "retain reading position when refreshing" issue (hopefully). I've also improved scrolling performance in the timeline.

Not 100% sure, but this may be the first video hosted on @bsky.app. I uploaded it with a development version of @skeetsapp.com (which will support this as an experimental feature in the next version).

How scrolling performance for y‘all? Better, worse, the same?

v1.9.6 is out. It fixes a bug that squished uploaded images. Furthermore, it should improve scrolling performance. Please let me know if you feel any difference.

Quick monday release v1.9.5 with the following: • Image quality of uploaded images have been improved • Mastodon cross-posts are displayed in full • Max. width of embeds is set to 500px on iPads • Fixed a bug that wouldn't let you reply in chats • Added a new icon for the chat tab (thx Aeon!)

v1.9.3 is available and it comes with a "Low Data" mode. When activated Skeets won't load images or GIFs and instead display the ALT-text. Perfect for when you want to skeet and only have 1 bar.

FYI: I've deleted the post about the newly added feature to "Hide Posts that contain images without ALT-text". I will remove the feature because I was made aware by a user that it may be exclusive to users that live with ME/CFS or AD(H)S.

Furthermore, v1.9.3 now also allows you to enable "Require ALT-text before posting". I've also added an option that lets users increase the size of the ALT-text indicator layover on images.

I just realized: with shortcuts support you can use shortcuts‘ automation feature now to do timed/scheduled posts from iOS with Skeets 🚀

v1.9.2 is available and it brings along Shortcuts! You can use these to post to @bsky.app using Siri on iOS / iPad OS. Just say „Hey Siri, write a post using Skeets“ and off you go.

If your iPhone has an action button you can assign the shortcut to it making posting to @bsky.app a 1-click action.

Since I may not have made this clear when announcing the feature: you can edit your posts for 10mins with @skeetsapp.com regardless of which app/website you used to create the post. E.g. create a post through the official Bluesky app, then edit it in Skeets is fine.

v1.4.0 (which will be available soon) will introduce an experimental feature I've played around with for some time now: Editing Posts It's experimental because it's not officially supported by Bluesky (yet) - so please view it as something to play around with and impress your friends :)

v1.9.1 is available. Features: • Known followers are displayed in users' profile pages • Shared Posts are displayed in DMs • 3 image posts are now rendered correctly • New lists of blocked & muted accounts in the accounts tab • The user's handle can now be displayed in the 2nd row (configurable)

I am floored at just how good this app is and keep getting.

@jacob.gold @why.bsky.team @retr0.id is there any way you could forward DM push notifications to the serviceDID we hand over when registering for push notifications? Right now @skeetsapp.com is merely a lame duck when it comes to DMs requiring the user to open the app to find new messages :(
