I think he's probably embarrassed by that and I seem to recall him walking it back a bit between 2017 and 2020 but not the other guys. and tbh idgaf even if hayes did try to atone for it.

He actually got really stroppy at people whenever they brought this up and behaved as though it were unfair to criticize him for it. His behavior now is more mature, but no mea culpas, as far as I know.
