There really was coke in the bathrooms, over 90 degrees a swamp cooler makes it so much worse, small town 20 year olds from Iowa maybe shouldn’t go straight to adulthood in Vegas, some boys crash and burn once they’re discharged from the military, among others.

Those are life lessons, indeed. Some I could have guessed, but others … I’ve never actually been anywhere and someone present me illegal drugs. And yes, I went to college. :)
