Well! I'll still ask folks not to post AI images. This one is not AI, but with the spate of them, sorry, I assumed. If it sucks your fun out go ahead and mute or block, that's what those tools are for and I would rather keep asking folks not to use AI than to have more followers.

And I would rather, if you see something you don't like, refrain from commenting and move on. Like a big boy. I don't support AI either for the record. Nor do I support those who just look for things to be pissed about.

Well, that's true, too. I didn't come to get into an argument with him or his online buddies, though some persist in that delusion. I came to stand against AI art, vocally. This isn't AI, but my point stands as I posted it. You should also credit original art when you post it, so folks know.

Yeah. It's amazing. I once posted an interesting image made by an actual human digital artist and received the response "Fuck off with that AI shit." There are truly Victorian levels of virtue signaling here.

An author did a cover reveal a few days ago. A good friend of mine DMed me. "That's AI. You shouldn't buy it." I checked with the author. He was upset enough to confirm. Not AI. Came back to my friend. ... and they still believe it to be AI. ...sigh... I hate AI art, but come on!

I've been watching the devlopment of 'sameness' among nudes on Flickr, and some photo processors seem to believe the 'AI-look' is a positive to aspire to. It's bad taste shit.

They remind me of the antivaxxers in their resolute refusal to believe anything they don't want to believe. Their prime directive seems to be that there is no such thing as a human digital artist, with the corollary "AI is whatever I say it is."
