I found this… it’s a real resource meant for teachers, but I want to kind of keep it around and send it to people when they make me explain something that they should know or would be easy to google
“Glad I could help. Now fill this out.”
article on why CEOs want their employees back in the office had this:
“You can interrupt each other without being rude when you’re in person,” said Mr. Medina, whose company, Outreach, is now in the office on a hybrid basis. “In a Zoom conversation, you have to let somebody finish their thought.”
tech dudes in ai will literally say something like "we glorphed 2.5 billion groyphs to create a brelf" and the other dudes on the podcast will nod and whisper “incredible"
You should absolutely block anyone for any reason on any platform at all. You are responsible for curating your social media experience, and you are NOT obligated to be exposed to posts that rub you the wrong way. Block for any reason. Block for NO reason! It’s free to use!
We have tried the “blocking people should only be done in extreme cases” approach to social media for over a decade. And it has failed.
This is exactly why I so strongly support making it socially acceptable for people to block anyone for any reason.
I could NOT find where Apple moved display sleep settings. Now under Lock 🔒 section… for reasons.
When my Mac sleeps, the LG display seems to take 15 seconds to turn back on. It’s kinda maddening.
Can I drop some great expressions on y’all? Been thinking of these all day.
[1] “You’ll find value where you put it”
(If you put your value in what others think of you, that’s how you’ll feel)
[2] “Some people are investments and some people are bills”
My friend Joe told me “Awhile back I got hooked by an episode of Unsolved Mysteries then got pissed at the end when they didn’t wrap it up.” 😂
He’s definitely getting an invite here.
I’d be *fascinated* to learn where the “hate messages” are in The Hill We Climb.
Was it “We seek harm to none and harmony for all.”?! Because I can see how that’s some real problematic shit right there.
Bob Ross has this message for you.
And he hopes you put a happy little Friday right over here, maybe nestled in some trees. Do your weekend the way that feels right for you. It’s your painting after all.
The only way my cat eats a cat treat is when they are hand fed to her. If the treat drops, it’s ruined & she won’t touch it.
Simultaneously the cutest & most annoying thing ever.
