unpopular opinion: The Borg Queen was a terrible idea because the Borg were a genuinely incredible, unique villain that were absolutely ruined when writers just had to create a individualised cult of personality Leader character from within the perfect antithesis to any of it and ruin the concept

Jesus! Bordeaux traffic was TERRIBLE. But the rest of the country was 10/10. I'm still amazed at these green fields everywhere: In Spain, right now, all vegetation is either yellow or dark olive!

Today, we will travel across the land of the Merry Mushmen (the French and Spanish Basque country), on our way to the "Ville aux cent clochers"! I've stashed the Black Sword Hack UE and KNOCK! magazine in case we are stopped by a wild basajaun!

To those struggling with "Am I a game designer?" If you fiddle with rules, think about concepts, try out home rules, adopt some, discard others, merge game mechanics from different games. You're one. Being published is not a requirement. It just makes you a published game designer. Keep at it!

Like I genuinely believe the first Rocky is one of the greatest works of American cinema and I am always prepared to bust of my dissertation on the subtlety and nuance of performance conveyed through a deceptively simple story. But Rocky 4 is DBZ Rocky and Dolph is hot and the robot is funny.

Ok, big ass suitcase loaded in the car. Computer, disassembled and loaded. Cardboard box with plenty of A5 format TTRPGs loaded. Tube with weird dices? LOADED in the box, because one never knows when you will find someone hosting DCC/MCC game or inspiration comes for a game with d7, d16 or d24s!

Tomorrow we leave Spain for Germany and I'm so tense I could sharpen a knife with my neck muscles. Also, pooping a lot.
