Their conclusion certainly doesn't fit the evidence in the table. Every one of the studies showed an improvement in mental health following hormone treatments.
Yeah, a lot of the studies were downgraded for factors such as small sample size, and single clinic samples. Those are certainly limitations of the studies, but that’s a perfect opportunity to combine the results. Could they not have done a meta-analysis, rather than a narrative synthesis?
