I wanna consider this a win for MeToo, but these responses are so selective that it has more to do with Majors and the victim than anything else, unfortunately.
It’s the right move but as an abuse victim, Disney made it clear years ago that they don’t care about working with domestic abusers if they can get away with it. They waited to see if people would forget about the Jeremy Renner situation…and people did. So he got a Disney show.
He was accused of emotional and physical abuse from his ex-wife in divorce proceedings. As far as I’m aware, Disney didn’t even make a statement of an internal investigation or anything. They just ignored it and acted like nothing was happening.
Hi. You don't know me, but. As an "alleged" (I've grown so tired of that word) survivor of someone MeTooed years ago, just wanted to say: seeing your wishes made me emotional, in a good way. It's... rare to see.

Oh wow that's crazy. I wonder what happened to all that evidence his lawyers claimed not only exonerated him but also prove he was the real victim of a crime.
