The core problem is that people, whether accidentally, deliberately, or through misunderstanding, conflate "generative large language models" such as ChatGPT and the like with all forms of machine learning and call them all "AI", and it makes people transfer their animus for the former to it all.

I am cursed like 85% of my ships are rare pairs (Also there are less than fifty maiga/baptiste fic on AO3 I’m gonna fight)

I decided to open the day with reading some fanfic and my god as per usual there is a disgustingly low number of fic for the ship I’ve picked why always this

It’s very interesting to see when/ how folks decide forgiveness and rehabilitation is equivalent to pretending the person never did anything on an individual level Which is not remotely what those things mean

If someone committed a heinous act it’s important to give a chance for rehabilitation, but it’s also important to keep yourself safe and also to look and see if the person has actually you know Changed
