You and I know that's ridiculous, but we have to assume they didn't want Israel to, y'know, use thousands of bombs in a genocidal campaign that is killing everyone indiscriminately. Doctors without Borders, journalists, UN peacekeepers, everyone!
This is just PR. People in positions of power, those who usually also dominate the narrative, know that we'll all respond to the things they say and feel like we're somehow influencing these things.
They got no problem letting us influence their PR strategies.
But, watch what they actually DO.
