If you eat 4 times a day and go to the bathroom 3 times and wash your face in the morning. So in order NOT to be nasty that's 8. How many times are other generations washing their hands?
10 times a day doesn't seem that crazy either. Especially if you cook for yourself!
I think they are using alarmist language to describe a trend that could better be summed up as “this generation is healthier and smarter than us”
