Thinking about something Shannen said in her podcast and she's right. You don't need "your person" whatever your perceived notion of that is, you need a few loyal, trustworthy people that have your back and love you and that's all you need for a really good life.

A handful of people. The reason Falling Inn Love is one of my favourite RomComs even though I don't like RomComs is a Black Lead and the way the town rallied around her to support her dream of opening an Inn. That scene when she was sick and they all came over cracked open my heart.

What is needed is a community, a small community of friends and a large community to interact with. The Golden Girls had it right all along.

I don't like when people die on me (a lot of people have died on me) and the sun is shining and everyone's happy. I find it disrespectful. So I appreciated the rain the past few days and especially appreciated the thundersrorm and power outage today. It makes it seem like the loss was acknowledged.

Like in my corner of the world at least something stopped. After Mercutio was slain by Tybalt, Romeo said "Mercutio's soul was blown away by thy" and I don't think there's ever been a more accurate description of death. A beautiful has been soul blown away.

I can't believe Shannen left all these episodes for us fans. I really appreciate it. I remember when Luke passed I was devastated but I remember thinking "At least it wasn't Shannen" this is the worst celebrity death to hit me. She was my favourite. Grateful for every carbon footprint she's left us.

Glad the power came back quickly, this is the first time inna long time my fridge and freezer have been stacked I did NOT want that food to spoil. I got parsley, I got dill, I got green onions, Arugula, salmon, steak, bacon wrapped chicken, sweet potato. Can't lose that.

That was a real Irish Goodbye man, like damn. I know she's Irish but she didn't have to do us like that. I know she probably thought she has more time. I was listening to her podcast and I'm so grateful she was at least able to get as many episodes in as she did. A love letter to us fans.

Oh, Shannen Doherty.. the impact she’s had on me as a person was immense growing up and I don‘t even know where to start nor would I be currently able to express all the appreciation and gratitude I feel for this woman. I‘m just absolutely devastated and my heart hurts so much.

The sort of woman who is loyal to and values her female friendships as much as her romantic relationships, doesn't come a long very often. I was always Team Brenda and always Team Shannen.
