I think billboards highlighting each chapter of Project 2025 placed in specific locations. For example the chapter on gutting military benefits should have billboards on highways near big military bases. Plans for destroying Social Security have billboards all over in Arizona and Florida.

Most of the Frigates we see here are Females (on left with white throats) but Males are seen as well (on right with Red Throat). Their neck pouches blow up like a balloon when they feel like showing off. #birds

Muscovy Duck (Cairina moschata) on the road to the Mazaroni Trailhead, Brownsberg Park, Brownsweg, Suriname. Quite a large duck, Males have 7" helical penises that become erect in less than 1/2 a second! Females have interesting corresponding anatomy to prevent forced mating. #birds

White Fronted Woodpecker (Melanerpes cactorum) another of the amazing number of new birds (for us) seen on our most recent trip to Teniente Agripino Enciso N.P. in the dry Chaco northern Paraguay. I'm noticing as I post my pics that I seem to favour Woodpeckers, Owls, and Penguins. Hmmm #birds

Northern Flicker (Colaptes auratus) the ones found here are the Grand Cayman yellow-shafted Flicker (Colaptes auratus gundlachi). This sub species is only found here on Grand Cayman. Another sub species C.a. auratus is the state bird of Alabama where it is called "Yellowhammer". #birds

Purple Roller (Coracias naevius) subspecies mosambicus seen in Etosha N.P. near Namutoni, Namibia. Absolutely incredible place Namibia, just the nicest people, highly recommend it, watch the Top Gear episode and you'll want to go! Just get your shots and don't be foolish #birds

Downy Woodpeckers (Picoides pubescens) Males on Left, Amityville NY. Year round visitors up there as is the Mourning Dove seen with the female. Small woodpeckers not much if at all larger than the Finches in the previous post. #birds

Taken 2 Feb 24 in Amityville NY he's a House Finch (Haemorhous mexicanus). We struggled with whether this might be a Purple Finch (both found there year round) but settled on House. Anyone who differs please feel free, would love to hear. Sucky weather here today so looking at old images. #birds

Green Heron (Butorides virescens) These guys are at the pond most days, I love seeing them. May not post the next 48hrs (Not because I am depressed about SCOTUS which I am) as we have a hurricane watch and I have to double all the lines on the boats and make sure things are set properly #birds

Driving back from lunch yesterday my wife saw what we assumed was a Frigate but it was flying like what it was, a Turkey Vulture (Cathartes aura). Not at all common here. Probably soared on the wind from Cuba or Honduras. Sorry, wasn't ready for it, this was best image we got #birds

Bald Eagles, the left in South Florida the right in Sitka Alaska. Incredible majestic animals that represent the freedom found in our land from the Southeast to the Northwest. It never gets old to see them. What will they represent now Justice Roberts? Maybe they'll be hunted to extinction... #birds

Fight with your vote folks. Yesterday I thought this election was the most important of my life, today I am completely without doubt. Vote blue from POTUS to dog catcher
there's nothing wrong with having feelings of despair and futility, but i think it's most responsible to avoid airing all that out in public to the greatest extent possible right now. we need to cultivate a vengeance-driven, enraged espirit de corps right now, because we need people to fight

Lesser Vasa Parrot (Coracopsis nigra) also called Black Parrot or Singing Parrot by the locals, seen in Andasibe-Mantadia N.P. Falierana, Madagascar. Singing is a quite appropriate name, you can hear them well before you see them as they are loud indeed. #birds

Great Blue Herons with some Great Egrets. Not the best shot, I was still setting up and suddenly a cool line up presented itself. Seems like the big guys are here for a convention! I'll reply with better shots I got later in the morning. #birds

Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata) Amityville NY. I grew up on Long Island and these guys were a bird we saw all the time, little did I know how difficult it is to get a good shot of them as they are fast moving and will bolt if they see any movement. They are beautiful indeed #birds

After a few hours to reflect on last night, I am in need of being talked off the ledge. I am so terrified the country is going to willingly drive the car off the cliff. I speak to many international folks who come here who are equally fearful and frankly bewildered at how Americans are ok with 45*
