King's Speech Day The usual phantom Bill to penalise Sheriffs who declare Outlaws without having advertised The most ludicrous real Bill is one to boost the number of female Bishops in the House of Lords. Why are there any Bishops in the House of Lords. Why are there Lords in the House of Lords?

Ping pong dim sum at Waterloo. Tré appears to be filling out an exam paper. They make you write down your order like a laundry list but it's kinda cute.

Guardian: "...new mayors in Greater Lincolnshire and Hull and East Yorkshire." not "Greater Lincolnshire, Hull, and East Yorkshire" due initial 'and' not one place due "mayors" Is it "Greater Lincolnshire and Hull, and East Yorkshire" or "Greater Lincolnshire, and Hull and East Yorkshire"?

I have some news… For the next school year, I will be the artist-in-residence at Harvard Medical School as part of the MS program in Media, Medicine and Health. This fall, I’m teaching a course on how the memoir functions within systems of power. I’m excited, nervous and ready to make good trouble.

Now listening to the new album, Thugs from Amritsar, by Pataka Boys. Hip-hop exploring the Indian Diaspora, it’s complex and layered. Mellow, insistent.
