🔭🧪 My new #sundial is taking shape. Made out of a soda can, a CD and a printed pattern. It’s almost 5pm (where the vertical shadow crosses the curved one). With as many as 3 customized parameters (latitude, and 2 radii), it’s very convenient to use standard size objects.

Fresh milk was great for children, but couldn't be stored without spoiling. The likely accidental discovery that some bacteria could convert milk into something with longer shelf-life and 1/3rd the lactose meant that adults could access the proteins in milk.
