Thinking of making do with Quordle and Blossom (which is Spelling Bee-adjacent). I'll miss the crosswords, but there are plenty others out there.

(I get more pleasure these days from Worldle and its geographical cousins, anyway. I think I've almost got down all the country outlines and capitals, with the exception of certain Pacific and Caribbean island states...)

NGL while I enjoyed the accent quiz being passed around the other day, I still felt really uncomfortable engaging with NYT content at all. Enemies of the fucking people.

I’m going to go games only too, and wean myself off that over time. Hoping the NYT would see the light at some point is a futile gesture. It’s time to take the only other option.

I’ve let my subscription run on and on because of the vague feeling that an intelligent, engaged person should support journalism, but wtf? I can’t read it anymore.
