Libraries are dominated by lots & lots & lots of books on shelves which doesn't sync with the oppressive ethos of digital/online culture.

Though NYPL has an incredible digital collection as well!

What did anyone expect when they elected a cop to be mayor? When was the last time you saw a cop reading a book? (And for anyone whose dearest friend or relative was a cop and also a literary genius, here is your chance to express outrage--go!)

I feel like a lot of elections would go like this: 33% vote for: 1. Candidate A 2. Nobody 33% vote for 1. Candidate A 2. Nobody 16.5% 1. Candidate C 2. Nobody 17.5% 1. Nobody 2. Candidate C Nobody wins, Everyone’s banned. I guess it would encourage less-divisive candidates.
