I still think this and I try to keep it in mind even while 80% of my feed is people expressing outrage and vitriol at anyone who isn’t wholeheartedly promoting some specific opinion about the best path forward for the world

I really do believe that most people are basically good, mean well, and want to have a positive impact on the world

Comments like this are just baffling to me. Like, I literally just listed a bunch of completely FREE or affordable alternatives to using genA/I to create comm refs Just admit that you don't care. What's with this idea that before exploitative genA/I, people couldn't create ref sheets? What on earth

the bone-weary sigh i heard from the person who reinstated my MSI after i asked them when i could expect to get off of the family doctor wait list haunts me three years later (i still do not have a family doctor)

5) good news: all those taxes do pay for socialized healthcare. Bad news: depending on where you end up, it may be an absolute shambles. There are like a hundred thousand people in Nova Scotia who can’t find a family doctor (me included).
