My only complaint is that they should have shoehorned more thin connections to other comics lore in. Name the doctor who delivers baby Peter Parker "Kevin Octavius" and make it clear he's Otto's cousin.

Spoiler alert. When I got to the third act in the script and saw that it takes place in a fireworks warehouse I actually wondered if I was being pranked. What, no pie fight? Two guys crossing the street carrying a giant mirror? Surely there's a chase scene through a seafood market
