This is a fairly radical interpretation of Sergio Aragonés' GROO, but I dig it.

ElfQuest was INCREDIBLY horny in ways that weren't always obvious to 80s comics fandom.

it's so funny, when I was looking through those ElfQuest books as like a high schooler or so I was completely scandalized. aghast to see them in a university library, which I saw as this bastion of higher learning and somehow not horny elves. but those things technically don't clash!
