My argument against replacing Biden is that there is nobody in the world I trust less with that decision than Dem insiders
Galaxy brain moves afoot “In recent days, some company leaders and Democratic political operatives have called the chief executive of JPMorgan Chase, Jamie Dimon, according to someone with knowledge of the calls, to gauge his interest in replacing Mr. Biden”
Big Donors Turn on Biden. Quietly.www.nytimes.com Some of the president’s past supporters want a new candidate, but they are leery of going public.

Kamala would be the only legitimate choice and it’s not even a close call

Yeah I'm coming around to "It can be Harris if it just gets everyone to shut up" but I'm still not convinced it's a *good* idea

There is no good choice here tbh but what sways me to Kamala is the fact that the Biden campaign really does not seem able to handle this and they’re looking set to go down in flames while basically denying the problem even exists
Avatar
See, but that’s the problem. People will never shut up, no matter what you do, so you can’t really factor that in as a trade-off

this is the sad fact It's Biden or Harris, pick

The chance to replace either of them has long since passed. Dems seem bad at playing the long game…

Harris is young, capable, bright, educated, and experienced. I don't know how her polling is. She is more than up to the actual job in terms of qualifications.

amazing geniuses like mike bloomberg

Who the fuck called Jamie Dimon?!

I agree. It would have to be Harris, she's the only way that they can do it I think.

My argument against is the ballot access issue. Full stop.

Jamie Dimon? Are these people brain dead? Who on earth is the voting constituency for Jamie Fucking Dimon?

The good news is, it’s Biden’s decision.

Dem insiders, whose policies poll at 70% but barely win over 50% of the votes. 🙃🙃🙃😀😬

1000000% What has the Democratic Party done in the last 20 years that suggests it could handle this well? Imho, virtually nothing.
