I ask because this is a potential look at what could happen in America with the GOP if the MAGA faction does something incredibly stupid and declared war on the party

If we can kick their asses so hard they start eating each other, all kinds of possibilities open. This is why your vote matters this year.

This is why I've been arguing that the smartest thing the Dems Operatives could do would be to form a separate MAGA party and recruit candidates.

i hate lying, but politically it’s okay to walk right up against the line. and maybe dems wouldn’t be dems if they embraced the right’s tactics but it’s certainly worth finding out at this point.

I think we're also seeing much better Labour targeting. They're losing some vote share in places that will never elect a Tory (though they lost a couple seats to pro-Palestine independents in heavily Muslim areas), but are making gains exactly where they need to.

labour’s vote share is seemingly actually about halfway between 17 and 19 but tories are dropping a lot of seats they’d likely have won but for reform

My impression is that is a factor but Labour gaining in absolute vote share is a far bigger one
