Gaza protesters are protesting. They have no camping gear, have pledged not oppose police, and are attempting, yet again, to comply with the numerous restrictions placed upon them. No police are here yet.

It's 18 minutes after the deadline set in the university letter, but police have not intervened. They keep driving by but have yet to stop.

The media is here, which might be making a difference. When ~60 officers came on Tuesday, there was no media presence. The camara spotlight might be a deterrent.

The protesters have changed the famous Rock Chalk chant to "Rock Chalk Jayhawk divest."

Still no cops. No news is good news.

Cops have arrived. They have brought along an ambulance, which is never a good sign.

Cops are announcing everyone will be arrested if they do not leave. Dozens of cops are here.

I count about 50 cops. They outnumber the protesters.

The protesters/marchers periodically pause to chant. This is classic free speech.

Cops are telling the marchers they must leave campus or they will be arrested.

Cop just told me I will be arrested if I remain here.

Police are once again confiscating water, food, and other student possessions.

The marchers went in different directions and the police have lost track of them. No arrests that I know of. The protesters seemed to have escaped.

Cops are now searching buildings for protesters. This is ridiculous. Police are saying the students are still trespassing (even though they are students and many live on campus).

To be clear, the library is open and the students were not disrupting the library in any way.

Even though the protesters are long gone, a small army of police are guarding the protest site. Because reasons. And overtime.

Cops have left. Only 3 arrests that I know of. The rest of the protesters escaped.

Those arrested students need to immediately lawyer up.

We must be ever watchful—libraries are breeding grounds for ideas.

The next sentence is even bleaker: "The students were peacefully protesting a brutal, ongoing genocide."

From a different point, these arrests may become a propaganda for authoratic governments to legitimate that free speech is a dream even in democracies.
