Let me talk about the timeline in this case.
The assault took place on October 7, 2022. The clerk who reported it did so in November.
In December, the Chief Judge of the ninth circuit found there was probable cause to believe misconduct had occurred.
(cw for description of sexual assault and disgusting behavior.)
The clerk in question said that he held her down on a bed and forcibly performed oral sex on her.
Among other proof she had that this happened was the texts he sent her shortly after.
Suddenly I'm remembering that guy lecturing you about how judges are willing and able to police themselves because of their deep seated respect for the institution.
You are fantastic at holding down a standard of accountability and making it look like a matter of course. I think if more people followed you, they'd feel less overwhelmed at the prospect of doing their part in helping our runaway nation get running on a new set of tracks.
Thank you, Courtney!
